Merry Christmas Day!

Christmas Day was a whirlwind of fun! We started out with Santa and just us 4 gifts at home. Michael and I made a big breakfast. Ben and I went down for a much needed nap and then we were off to Pat, my mother-in-laws house! We opened more gifts and had a super yum dinner! It was just a great day with lots of fun, gifts, snow and of course pictures!

Waking up and coming to check out the stockings!!!

Look! There is something in Ben's stocking!

WHAT? Santa came and brought gifts!!!!!

This one is for me!

So excited!

It's just what I asked him for!!! A Horse Carrier Trailer thing!

See Ben!!!!

Jonathan helped Ben open his gift from Santa and is now showing it to him!

Ben isn't too sure, I think he really liked the truck that J just got!

Checking out their new toys!

Every boy needs a flashlight or two!

Hi - 5 Mittens!

Vteck Dino Switch and Go! Yes! J asked for this for the past few months every time the commercial came on!

From Jonathan to Daddy! J wrote Jon (we are working on the J).

Daddy was happy! We got him the complete set of Gilligan's Island on DVD!

A book from aunt Holly and uncle Jim - Aesops Fables!

Team Umizoomi RC Car!!

Matching Superman shirts and Capes and a Velcro toss ball set!

Jonathan got his very first camera!!!

Roller Racers!

Then we took a break to eat!
Jonathan ate bacon for the first time and LOVED it!

Yummy!

Ben enjoyed the pancakes and Chocolate Milk (first time and he liked it!)

Just as it was time to head to Pat's, it started snowing!! It snowed a lot!!!
The boys heading to the car!

Over the river and through the woods to Grandmother place we go! Ha! I kept singing that the way there! The boys are eating peanut butter sandwiches and cuddled up with their new blankets that Amy made them!!!

Arrived safely and the boys start playing at once!

More gifts! Yay!!!!

Anna Marie crocheted pieces for a cool dress up set for the boys!!! So fun!

Crocheted mustache!

Michael found a cool apron for Brian - "Real Men Wear Aprons" and it has a Mason symbol on it! (Brian loves to grill and is a Mason!) He loved it!

Opening gifts with Gran!

I knitted Anna Marie a scarf and Michael gave Brian a Hunt cap.

Anna Marie made Michael a Texas stepping stone with cement and the top is glass that she cut and placed. Very cool!

Anna Marie crocheted Pat and Me bags!!! I love it! She is a very talented girl!

A cool new feature on my new camera, panoramic!

Ben got a cool little pull train!

He put them up in the chair to look at them closer.

And then he gave Gran a BIG hug!

And then he gave Daddy a hug!

And then we had to go out side and check out the snow. Ben didn't know what to think!

We were all a bit hungry and it was a little too cold out there, so we headed back inside!

Dinner time!!! Yummy yum!

And now dessert time! Jonathan's Santa cookies and Mommas fudge. Anna Marie also made a couple yummy desserts!

Playing with the dress up!

I love this photo! Just priceless!

And after a "Dicey" drive home with the icy roads, we arrived home safely!
Our home!

Our tree with the snow and the lights! It was just beautiful!

Merry Christmas Eve

We hope you had a very Merry Christmas! It was so much fun for us this year! The boys were so excited and made everything even more fun! We had a busy, busy few days of celebrating. I bough myself an early Christmas gift of a new camera. I LOVE IT!! So over Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and the Day after (us playing in the snow) I took 900 photos! So I will tell the story with photos...

We spent Christmas Eve with The Day's! We met them for lunch at the Olive Garden!
Will says Merry Christmas!!

Amy and Waylen!

Crazy Cousins! (Michael's elbow)

After lunch we headed back to Michael and my home to open gifts!

J and Will!

Extremely Silly and Excited!

I don't know what they are looking at, but Amy's expression is so funny!

Hi - 5 Gloves! I made them for all the kids!

Waylen helping Will open a gift!

It's Charlie the Ranch Dog book! One of our favorites that we had to get for Scarlet!

Jonathan and Scarlet are still a blur of excitement, but Ben has slowed down to play with his new Sesame Street Set!

It's a Barbie VW Beetle!

Showing Brother his cool new toy!

Now everyone wants to play with it! There is just something about Sesame Street!

Time for cookies!

Chocolate face! (There was chocolate on top of the cookies!)

Amy is trying to remove all the thousands of pieces of packaging, while my boys are ready to pounce on Scarlet's new car! Jonathan said, "Well you can play with the Barbie, and I can play with the car!"

We put on a movie in hopes that the kids would rest a little bit before we went to church, but this was as still as they got, for a moment only and they were back up and playing! I love how all the boys are watching the TV and Scarlet is the only one smiling at me!

In an effort to be festive, I made this shirt the night before! :)

We went to the Children's Candle Light Service at our church! It was great because there were hundreds of kids there, so if your kid was loud, you were in good company! Jonathan and Scarlet especially loved it!. Jonathan said his favorite part was holding the candle. Scarlet said her favorite part was the live manger scene, with the a real baby Jesus!

Back at home, 7:00 pm, as you can see on the clock behind us, we are now icing and decorating the cookies for Santa that we made earlier that morning!

He is a great sugar coater!

A little bit later we lit the last candle on our Advent Candle!

Jonathan was covering his mouth so his breath wouldn't blow out the candles! Just precious!

Michael letting Ben blow out a candle!
