Night Night Time

One of my favorite times of the day is Night Night Time, aka Bed Time for Jonathan. He is typically on his best behavior, I believe it is because he thinks that we will read him more books, the better he acts. :)
Once we get him all clean and into his PJ's, it's story time! Michael and I both take turns reading a few books each to him. He loves it and so do we. Every night as I watch Michael read to Jonathan, I think...I need to get my camera in here, this is a memory I never want to forget.

Showing off his new "Big Brother" PJ's!

Reading with Dadda!

Everyone is ready for bed...this is where his OCD comes into play...these are the chosen 4 stuffed animals (Coco, Doggie, Giraffe and George) and this is the order that they HAVE to be in and this is the way they HAVE to lay! If it different, it gets bad...like if you put doggie on his belly instead of his back, there will be heck to pay! :) HeHe!

My sweetie pie! He looks so big!

The Dallas Arboretum

Another new thing we tried this year was the Dallas Arboretum! Wow, I was so impressed! It is now going to be our new Fall tradition! I highly recommend going if you are in the area! Jonathan and I met up with Angela, Grayson, Julie and Royce. He had lots of fun exploring! Can't wait to go back!

Jonathan and Grayson...and a million other kids. There was like 30 school buses in the parking lot.

Really cool gourd house.

I want a pumpkin house! And you can tell by his excitement, he does too!

A maze made of straw, it was very difficult getting him to leave it.

So disappointed that his face is blurry! Does anyone know how to fix this? He is so funny, he had just seen some people pose for pictures this way, so he had to do it too!

Me and Kiddo!

Painting Pumpkins!

Have I mentioned that I LOVE Fall? I love pumpkins too! And thank goodness, so does Jonathan! So I decided to combine two of our favorite things, pumpkins and painting and we enjoyed a beautiful Fall day on the back porch painting pumpkins. Michael was doing yard work around us, which Jonathan loves to stop and go "help" dadda. :)

BOO at the ZOO

I LOVE Fall time, it is my favorite season! There are always so many fun things to do too! Living in Fort Worth, I was surprised that I had never been to "BOO at the Zoo" before. So finally this year, Amy, Scarlet, Jonathan, Amy's friend Melinda and her little boy and I went! It was a lot of fun!

Scarlet and Amy (with baby Will bump!)

Sweet Cousins!

Inside the "Boo at the Zoo" part - it was basically games for kid's to play and they got candy for playing.

Scarlet wanted to play too!

Three in a ROW! Good job buddy!

Scarlet wants to play too!

Oh, but she just wants to sit on it! :)

Halloween Party at Church

So I found out the hard way that Jonathan is NOT into wearing a costume yet. We got him a Superman costume last year, and it still fit, so I figured we could try again this year.
(We were going to a Halloween party for the group that I recently joined "CCM" = Caring Christian Mom's. It is a group of mom's of pre-schoolers that meets a couple of times a month to hear speakers and just have fun with the kiddos. It's at the church where Jonathan goes to mother's day out and we have been visiting on Sundays. It's great since I already know some of the mom's from his school and he knows the kiddos.)
So that morning I got up before him and dressed up as the Wicked Witch of the East...aka...black and white panty hose, red shoes, black dress (I had a witches hat too, but I didn't have it on yet.) When he woke up I went in to get him, not even thinking that my outfit would bother him, but boy did. He started crying and just saying NO and pointing at my legs. I told him it was my costume and it was funny, but he said, "No, momma, not funny!" He wouldn't even come to me, so finally I took them off and everything was better.
But then the next battle began, his costume...I was running around chasing him...he was crying...poor kid, it was kind of a traumatizing morning. So I finally gave up and let him pick his outfit and I think he did quiet nice! I said that he was an official Dallas Cowboy Fan.

He was so funny with this cart, he stayed in that seat for at least 30 minutes! He loved it. And check out Elmo on the back row.

All the kid's lining up for a game.

His favorite thing to do...RUN! He is running after one of his best friends from school.

We're having another BABY!

Michael, Jonathan and I are very excited to announce that we are expecting another baby! The due date is 5/6/11, but we will have a planned C-section (due to difficulties with having Jonathan) around 4/28/11 (subject to change). So, that means the baby will be born around 1 week after Jonathan's 3rd Birthday!

Proud Big Brother!

I had my 2nd sonogram today and the doctor said, "Things couldn't look better". We were not able to determine the gender today, but on 11/18, I am hoping we will find out! I am leaning towards that it's a boy, just because I am having the same pregnancy that I did with Jonathan. But my doctor said that doesn't mean much. We will be happy either way!

So now hopefully you will understand why I have been absent lately...I have been pretty tired. The 1st trimester sure did take it out of me, but now I finally have my energy back and I am ready! We are so excited! :)
Stay tuned!

I wasn't able to upload the video of my sonogram...big bummer. It was really cool, our little one was jumping all around, it was cool. I will try to figure it out for next time!

Please vote, BOY or GIRL??? to the upper right hand! :)
