Right after I sent out the link for this blog, I started having some major computer issues. Finally early last week, both my computer and monitor STOPPED working. After taking them to the Geek Squad, we are 99.9% it was a Power Cord gone bad that caused all the costly damage. From what I understand, after a certain point power cords stop releasing consistent power which causes whatever it is powering to malfunction.
So we had to replace the power supply in my computer, get a new power cord, and get a new monitor. Lesson learned, I won't keep this power cord as long as I did the last one, which was 12 years.
So please learn from my misfortune and replace your power cords frequently. :)
