Welcome My Sweet Benjamin William

As most of you already know, Benjamin William Ewert was born last Friday, April 29th. He is perfect in every way to me...healthy, beautiful and a sweet snuggle bug. He reminds me so much of Jonathan in appearance and in temperament. Time will tell what Ben will look and be like, but right now I am enjoying a little deja vu.

Fresh out of the oven, so to speak. He was a big baby, but within a couple of days he lost almost a pound. We are working our way back up to birth weight still.

My wonderful husband gave me a beautiful ring. It matches the pendant that he gave me when I had Jonathan. My poor hands and feet are like double their size right now, so I have to wait to show it off. Thank you Michael! It's white topaz and black diamonds!!! :)

Day 2 in the hospital, Jonathan ran right in to greet his brother!



Great Uncle Jim and Holly came by to see Ben again and they took Jonathan back to their home for the afternoon. Jonathan had a blast with them playing and working on projects! Thank you so much Holly and Jim!

Saturday night Michael went home with Jonathan to get a good nights sleep, so Ben and I were on our own. As you can see I bored him! :) No, it was a really nice night, it was quite and I got some good sleep actually.

Day 3, Jonathan ran right in to check out Ben, but this time he wanted to give me hugs and kisses. It was very much appreciated! I love this photo!

While they were laying with me, I did an above shot looking down on my sweet boys.



He is so happy! And I am happy that he is happy!
