The VIP Tour

At the beginning of the month, my aunt and uncle came into town for a quick visit. My Aunt Maureen, my mom's sister, is a recently retired teacher and my Uncle Jim, is a Elementary School Principle, who was on "Fall Break". They live in El Paso and when they came to our wedding 7 years ago, they went to the State Fair and had a great time. So when they discussed what to do on their Fall Break, Jim said, let's go to the Fair again! I am so glad they came! We didn't go to the Fair with them since we had just gone the weekend before, but they mentioned their other plans, which included a VIP Tour of the new Dallas Cowboy Stadium! I have always wanted to do it and never have, so I asked if the boys and I could join them!!! We all had such a great time! It is a very impressive place!! I had fun, maybe a little too much fun, taking pictures.

My souvenir photo!! (Ben was lurching out of my hands to get the ball in Jonathan's hands!)

Maureen and Jim with my boys!

Several things: 1) Our tour guide was really funny and made the tour fun! 2) Jonathan was attached to Jim's hip! 3) The glassed in room at the top center is Jerry Jones private room.

We are now inside Jerry Jones private room (there is plastic on the floor). His suite is directly above this room. He comes to this room when things are going badly and he needs privacy!

Another view of the Jerry's private room.

And another view of Jerry's room...I liked this room. I think it was my favorite. Our tour guide said that this elevator is Jerry's private elevator. It stops at 3 places: 1) This private room. 2) His suite above. 3) And the field level. - He can be anywhere in seconds...

A pretty eating area.

Excited!!!

Check out the lighting - can you tell they are footballs!?

When we finished the tour, I asked Jonathan what his favorite thing was and he said it was riding in the giant elevators! I had happened to snap this one!

Looking out at the Ball Park at Arlington!

Me and my sweet boys!

I LOVE this photo - He looked at it a while and then turned to me and said, "Ewwww, belly buttons!"

We are in a suite! Nice View!

This is a standard suite. You can rent one for about $20,000 per game, plus you have to have a ticket! What?

Maureen, Jim and Jonathan down there!

The sign says it all...

Jim and Jonathan RUNNING into the locker room!

Ben is taking it all in...

Jonathan asked Jim, "What is this place?"
Jim said, "Um, ask your mom...wait, no, ask your dad!!"
Ha!
And then Jonathan asked me, "Why did those girls hang up their underpants?"

Blurry - but here we are in front of Romo's locker!!
Our tour guide let Jonathan try on Dez Bryant's pads and uniform shirt! J said it was really heavy!

In the Press Room looking out at the bar area.

Not shy at all, he wanted to got on stage in the Press Room!

Walking down the tunnel that leads to the field!

Us at the field entrance!

We had SO much fun running around on that field!

TOUCH DOWN DANCE!

I just love the way Ben walks! Little Boy, Big Screen!

Jonathan got tired and wanted to sit. Ben didn't want to sit until Jonathan was sitting in his seat. Therefore, this happened!

Touch Down!

Celebrating 7 Years!

Yesterday, October 15th, Michael and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary!!! I was so happy when Michael told me he was taking the day off, he had asked Pat to take care of the kids and he and I would go do something fun!!! We tossed around lots of ideas over the weeks approaching. We finally landed on the Dallas Arboretum! I really wanted to go see an exhibit by the famous glass blower, Chihuly and there is only 20 days left!!! Michael had never been either. So it was the perfect choice and it did not disappoint! We had a wonderful time! We walked every square inch of that place and I took lots and lots of photos! (I can't find my map/guide that tells me the names of all the pieces, I only put captions on the ones I remembered.)

The happy couple!

This was called "Blue Marlin"

"Turquoise Reeds"

I think this was my favorite, "Yellow Ice Tower"

We sat on this bench for a little while. It was beautiful! My word of the day was "Beautiful" I think I said it a zillion times! :)

I loved this path way.

"The Sun"

"Dallas Star"

My Sweetie and a spitting toad!

The pumpkin patch was up too, but we didn't spend tons of time there. But it was as cool as ever!

Justin and Emily's Reception

As I said in the previous post, my cousin Justin was married in Paris to Emily on Sept 22nd. Emily is from Fort Worth, so they had a reception at her parents, very, very nice home last weekend! It was a very classy and fun event!

It was later in the evening, so I asked my awesome sister-in-law, Anna Marie to come babysit the boys! Thankfully we could relax knowing she was there having fun with our boys! And Michael and I could have a fun night out! Yay! Win-Win! Sorry they aren't the best quality pictures, I took them all with my phone!

Justin and Emily - their engagement photo in Paris last year!
They decided to get married in Paris, because that is where they fell in love! When they were in school, they went with a group of friends to Europe and while they were in Paris...well, they fell in Love! Sweet story!

This past weekend my cousin Justin and his new wife Emily had a wedding reception in Fort Worth! You see, they actually go married a couple weekends ago in PARIS, FRANCE! How romantic! So some family came into town for a QUICK visit.

Amy hosted everyone at her house during the day on Saturday before the reception. We had fun watching the kids play, ate good food, and a really nice visit! We miss not being able to see family more, so this was so nice!!!

My little nephew/buddy Will was attached to my hip all day! Love that little guy!
